Improved custom domain support

Earlier this year, I introduced the ability to customise email aliases by using external domain names. Today marks an improvement that gives you increased flexibility.

Previously, when you added a custom domain, it included a default subdomain named paced. The idea was to ensure that you faced no compatibility issues or interference with other root MX records or email services you might already have in place.

The subdomain is now fully editable. Feel free to customise it to suit your requirements or native language.

If your domain has no prior-configured email services or MX records, you can leave the subdomain blank to use your root domain.

Examples

  • news@paced.yourdomain.com
  • news@xyz.yourdomain.com
  • news@yourdomain.com
